How to Send Rugs for Cleaning or Restoration

How can I send a rug? Is it difficult to do?
No. Absolutely not, you just have to follow some simple steps so as not to damage your item. After you receive your quote from us, you can ship your own rug here. Please contact us and you will have all the information you need.

With the right precautions, your rug will arrive safe and sound.

In many cases, it can be folded. Make sure that doing so will not damage it since some tufted rugs or super dense hand-knotted rugs can be damaged if creased.

  1. If your rug has area than is stiff as cardboard (or you have large and extra large goods) keep the fleece folded outwards.
  2. If it can be easily folded (and it is not that big) keep the fleece folded inwards.
  3. It can also be wrapped but you need to pay attention to its weight and volume (otherwise you could pay an additional fee for limit excess).

How to Pack My Rug

Nothing could be simpler. A rug is not that fragile and therefore it won't break if it falls. But moisture and humidity in any of them, even synthetic ones, can cause a multitude of problems.

Slide your item into a plastic sleeve (an extra layer of plastic will protect it). You can wrap it in a heavy-duty garbage bag as well. Then use packing tape to seal and secure your package.
